After all, the 2020 NBA Draft nor free agency will not have occurred by the time current-gen NBA 2K21 is released. In fact, the 2019-20 NBA season will not even be done. Due to all these items, anyone expecting as big of an attempt as we generally see from NBA 2K Coins an annual 2K discharge is very likely to be let down. All logic points to 2K rescue all or almost all of its ammunition on the next-gen models. Nevertheless, what does an acceptable current-gen release look like for 2K? I've got some ideas.
As we have seen from the gameplay trailer that published last month, the graphics will be almost identical, if not identical to NBA 2K20. Even though this might be a problem for some, I'm fine with this piece of stagnation. It is not going to get far better on PS4 and XB1 than what we find here. Second, it would be foolish to think 2K would want to invest in enhancing the product visually if they stand to benefit from providing a next-gen version that'll be hyped up largely due to how amazing it seems. 2K and every other manufacturer of yearly sports video games will want the difference between current and next-gen to be very noticeable from a visual standpoint. As a customer, I'm fine with that strategy.
Soundtracks are cool and all, but quite honestly, I fight to find that the real long-term value in investing too much into this part of a game. That is an opinion that I'm sure some will agree with, and others may disagree. That said, we've seen the soundtrack which is going to be in the game and depending upon your personal tastes, you're either elated, disappointed, or could care less about the songs included. I am good with what is coming on this front, and as far as comment, I will wait for the next-gen versions for a significant jump in this region. Some really cool things could be done to make what's already good opinion in the game even better.
I'm not always talking about delivering new modes. For example, I have already stated that with no salary cap feature in MyTeam, I am most likely not going to Cheap NBA 2K21 MT give that aspect of the game much of my period this past year. To a lesser degree, but similar, the same could be said for a draft feature. Madden, FIFA, MLB The Show, and the NHL series have excellent variations of this concept in their collector modes.
